WOW FACT:

I was so honored to meet a precious girl, Shahidah Roslan, who flew all the way from SINGAPORE to be at this "almost last" Glaminar! She was precious and so sweet and her camera had just died when we went to take a picture and mine was done too!

San Francisco was amazing...people clapped, cheered, cried, laughed, screamed...like no other city has yet! I will always remember each precious person that I hugged!

THE VERY LAST GLAMINAR will be in Los Angeles! 

in 2 weeks on December 5th...

it will be one of our biggest....with special surprises because it's our last one....

it will also probably very sad for me...to know it's the last one...

I can't wait though!

I am truly honored to be a part of so many precious people's lives...and my heart is so honored and humbly thanks each one of you for letting me into your heart and inspiring you all!

You get business forms and papers to set up your business, as well as a legal contract which you will give to clients to make sure you get paid, which can cost over $500 to have written up by an attorney (this is not some generic contract you copy from online), and I give this free because I don't want you to loose money like I have without it!
You leave ready to start your new career...start making money.

I get comments all the time: "why does your glaminar cost so much money?"

This is cheaper than spending your money on make-up or beauty school where you'll spend from $6,000-25,000 and still have no way of making money or knowing the tips that I teach you for success.

Just so you get a small idea of how much they cost to put on:
try needing to come up with over $3,500 for a room to rent to hold it in.
Then another $1,000 for a sound man so everyone can hear me.
The lighting equipment can cost up to $1,000 too!
Hotel room and plane tickets, luggage charges & taxi or shuttles: another $2,500 (at least! NYC, London  & Toronto it's 4 times this much)
I have to pay for the big tv screen so everyone can see the details....even more hundreds and hundreds.
The chairs alone can cost $1,000!
The stage platform so everyone can see can cost up to $2,000!
That doesn't even include the cost of the bags I had made to give you guys, the hundreds of dollars for cupcakes and decoration.
The hundreds of dollars in shipping to get all the things there in time, the gift bag goodies and prizes!
This doesn't cover the cost I have to pay for all the people to set up and tear down the event, that can cost another $1,000.
The printing alone of  the certificates and the pro class hand-outs cost hundreds of dollars.

It is VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE....and sometimes I wonder if we'll even make enough money to cover our costs. But I do this to inspire you all! To change your lives and give you hope for an AMAZING future!

GLAMINAR TOUR DATES!!!!

YAY! I have stayed up til 3 or 4am, each night for the past several days to get this website and GLAMINAR planned!!! It's ready for our FIRST KICK OFF DATE & LOCATION!!!

SEATTLE JULY 31, 1020 (this will be our last WEST COAST location!!!)

Now the cities were chosen by most requested locations from everyone on my FACEBOOK "Kandee Fan-FAMILY page"!  Certain cities will cover a range of "travel-to-cities", Seattle will cover Vancouver to Portland, to any of the surrounding areas people can travel from! (We have girls that traveled to LA from Germany and the UK!) TORONTO's date is set up yet, but we're looking at November 6th for IMATS up there!

I wish I could go to more cities, but this is all I can go to because I only have so many weekends available with my kids schedule! And I don't know if or when I will be able to do more Glaminars next year, nothing is planned....my work schedule may be changing, and I'm not sure if it will allow me to do more Glaminars! So these ones are going to be great!!!!!! If I never get to do one after these, these are going to be the MOST AMAZING, LIFE changing ones ever!!!

Then in June I was blessed with the opportunity to attend her Pasadena Glaminar and because of that, my life will never be the same. I walked into the morning session, just another face in the crowd, and I left a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist. I am now confident in myself and my abilities, have a brain filled with priceless knowledge, a support system in my new found friends {the other girlies at the Glaminar}, and most importantly, a fire in my heart. I knew exactly where I wanted to be and what I had to do to get there.
In the 2 weeks since the Glaminar, I have booked 4 weddings, 8 photoshoots, and was most recently offered the opportunity to work on a feature film movie {which unfortunately I had to pass on, due to already being booked 3 of the four weekends of the filming!}

How was the GLAMINAR???

June 27th...Pasadena California...
heart were changed...dreams were ignited...knowledge was given (so were certificates!)
I had no idea that we would break all our records for having the most people ever come to the GLAMINAR!!! We had people from Germany to Florida and everywhere in between!

This is not just a class about make-up, or how to become a make-up artist....this is an experience that will forever change those who were there! I cried with some of the precious people there...I celebrated their dreams, and inspired their hearts to take what they learned...but most importantly...how to take that knowledge and start making their dreams come true!

People came that didn't even have an interest in make-up, and said they were amazed, and it changed them, and they are happier and more encouraged after going!

I lost my voice at the end of the day from talking so much...and I was pretty much exhausted...but my heart had so much energy and love! I want to thank everyone who came to the Glaminar! Thank you for letting me into your life and your hearts! You are know an Glaminar Alumni! hee hee

I'm so EXCITED!!!!

We have just 2 days until GLAMINAR day on sunday! I am soooo excited to get to meet everyone, inspire your hearts, fill you will love, hope, knowledge, and everything you need to make your dreams happen! Yes, it's about make-up...but so, so, soooo much more! There are things in store that we've never had at any Glaminar before, and probably won't be able to do again! ha ha ha

This is our 1 year "glam-a-versary" of the Glaminars! So this one's gonne be good!
I am so honored, that the girls that started the Kandee's Glaminar Scholarship Winners page, started a discussion about an "AH-HA" moment they had from me....and my heart was just sooooo excited to see that not one comment was about MAKE-UP!!!! It was about their hearts! Make-up is fun, but to touch someone's heart is something that no price can be put upon, no words can describe! I have to say, they love that the girls on that page show each other is awesome!!! I am so proud to see me "lil' kandee family" loving each other and spreading their joy and encouragement with each other!

OH YES! I will be at IMATS on saturday!

LA AREA GLAMINAR!!!

It's GLAM time!
ONE YEAR AGO, I held my first GLAMINAR when IMATS (International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) was in in LA, well actually very close to LA in Pasadena, California!

And we're doing it again! I had lots of requests for people out of town asking for me to do the Glaminar when they'll be in town for IMATS. Ask and you shall receive!

SO I was up til 1 am redoing my website that got erased....my head hurt, my heart was having funny palpitations...but it's done!!!

I can't wait...and we have Urban Decay that is going to give us gift bag goodies again!!! And I'm working on other companies giving us prizes to give away!!!

I've been working, printing, planning, calling, arranging, designing...and more.....all to make this weekend's Glaminars, amazing!

1. Urban Decay is giving us giftbags for the Glaminars! (I don't want to say all the goodies that will be inside...but I am sooooo excited!!!!)

2. Dinair is donating a couple airbrush kits...worth over $200!

3. Zuca bags is giving us at least one (maybe 2), of their awesome make-up bags! (I use mine everytime I travel or work!)

I  had a rough day the other day (a particular event that really made me have a BADDDD headache to say the least! ha ha ha), but I clung on to the things I love...the hope, the excitement for the future...and I had my 2 sweet and sparkling friends, Tamara and Teresa (double T's), to make me laugh, shine their smiles, and share their glittering hearts...they made me laugh in the middle of tears...the hugged me in the middle of pain...and comforted me. I had my sweet boyfriend, smiling little people...my mom and sister, via phone...and I just want you to know, if you ever feel alone, or sad....I am sending you hugs right to your heart..always! Just so you know, life is never perfect, we face difficult situations...but they make us stronger, wiser, and build character. Without character, we are like frames without pictures inside them...
so let's paint a beautiful picture of strength and beauty on the canvases of our lives....let nothing get us down...because we will keep on gettin' back up!
Let's celebrate...and I'm ready to celebrate with you!
