CHESHIRE CAT TUTORIAL

Alice in Wonderland has some fun characters....the mad hatter, tweedle dee and tweedle dum, and ofcourse the cooky CHESHIRE CAT!

I did this look last year, and never uploaded it...so finally I found it and uploaded this long lost video....I hope you like it!

Here's what I used to get the look:

Concealing the Eyebrows- here's the video where I show you how to conceal the eyebrows (hint: I like how the Elmer's Glue came out way better than the Spirit Gum technique!)

URBAN DECAY COMPLEXION PRIMER-  this will smooth out the skin and really make the make-up stay put!

PURPLE CREAM EYESHADOW- from URBAN DECAY in DELINQUENT you can use this or just a purple eyeliner.

Make-Up Forever Flash Palette (but you can use any cheap color from the costume store, or even lipsticks if you have the right colors!)

I used PURPLE (MAC Vibrant Grape) and YELLOW (MAC Canary Yellow) eyeshadow to go over the cream color with.

BLACK EYELINER (I used NYX Jumbo Liner in BLACK BEAN) and Black eyeshadow from MAC in CARBON.

MAKE-UP SEALER- serious make-up sealer...Model-in-a-bottle (you can get it here: modelinabottle.com)...I use this on make-up jobs when I don't want the makeup going anywhere...it serious sealing business! Spray this over any make-up and it's not going anywhere!

The Purple Bowtie shirt is from STEPPIE.com...I'm not sure if she makes this shirt anymore...(but I do love and have the I AM AM NINJA shirt too)...I just love the  "nerd shirt" she made...maybe you can email her and ask i she has anymore!

PURPLE HAIR WIG- I just used a cheap purple bob wig like this one purple wig and messed up the hair so it looked more "hairy"!

I made the ears my cutting purple paper triangles and bobby-pinning them into the wig.

The best part about this look is the more "un-perfect" it looks, the more it will look like  a real cartoon! It's like facepainting, so fun!

Sit back and have fun watching this  kooky CHESHIRE CAT look!

huge love and silliness....your Cheshire Kandee
